2010 FCA Rally Shatters Previous Attendance Records
The 2010 FCA Chick-fil-A Senior Bowl Rally consisted of a representation of school groups, church groups and the general public.A decision was made to move the event to the Mobile Civic Centerin order to ensure there would be adequate seating. And a good move it was.It is estimated around 5700 people were in attendance at this year’s rally, breaking last year’s all time record of over 3000.
The annual rally gives FCA the opportunity to impact thousands of students and coaches with the life-changing message of the love of Jesus Christ. This year’s event featured a guest musical appearance by The Brighter and the Jonathan and Lisa Moore Band. The crowd was challenged bytestimonies from Senior Bowl players from all over the country, including Stafon Johnson, Javier Arenas, Mardy Gilyard and many others. Cary Lowery closed out the outreach by presenting the gospel.Around 700 people made faith decisions at the 2010 rally. A special offering was taken up for the Feed the Children Haiti fund and over $2600 was raised by those in attendance.Once again, special thanks goes to Senior Bowl, hundreds of volunteers, Chick-fil-A, and all the great sponsors who make this event possible!
