Jorge's Story-
In April 2008, Jorge Subirats was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor was classified as a glioma following a surgery to biopsy and possibly remove it.
Physicians concluded it was inoperable. Jorge received chemotherapy but in July, doctors determined that the treatment was unsuccessful. Family and close friends gathered and continued to pray. God called Jorge home on August 1, 2008 and he will be greatly missed. FCA is thankful for the committment, support, volunteer service, and time Jorge invested in the lives of others. Proceeds from the tennis tournament were given to the Subirats family in order to assist them with medical bills and expenses incurred during this time.
